Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer is proud to announce its 2016 Service to Youth and D’Anjolell Award winner. These awards are specific to Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer and seek to honor those individuals, clubs and organizations that have distinguished themselves in their service over the years.

One of this year’s Service to Youth Award recipients are Lennie Brown

He will be honored at the Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Awards Banquet on February 25, 2017 at the Lancaster Marriott at Penn Square. Award recipients will receive a complementary ticket to the event.

“Lennie, has helped us fulfill our mission to promote, foster and perpetuate the game of soccer in our communities,” said Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer President Jim Kuntz. “They deserve recognition not only for their service this past year, but over the last few decades.”

Brown has worked in various roles within Octorara Soccer Club since the club’s inception, including Intramural Director, Travel Director, Registrar, Vice President and President. He also served as President and League Secretary for the Lanco League and has been Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer’s District 8 Commissioner for the last nine years.

The D’Anjolell Award, named for Betty and Ron D’Anjolell, was first given out in 1986. It is presented to an outstanding Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer club or league that contributes greatly to soccer and the youth who play it. HMMS has invested in its coaches, players and administration to provide quality facilities and play for its members. The club has multiple teams compete in indoor and outdoor cups, sends players to the Olympic Development Program and remains dedicated to coaching education
